Micro Links FAQs

Posted by haircandybeauty on April 25, 2013 at 12:00 AM

Q: What are Micro links?

A: Micro-Links Fusion hair extensions are individual Human Hair Extensions that gives you a very natural look like your own hair and can be worn with style versatility. The hair attachment process is painless and it requires no braiding, no bonding, no messy glue, and you will have no bulkiness when your extensions are complete. These extensions are attached to small sections of your own natural hair at the root with small rings. It can be washed, colored, and styled like your very own hair.

Q: How long to micro links last?

A: Micro Links can last from 4-6 months depending on how fast the hair grows and how well they’re maintained. As your natural hair grows, the attachment grows further away from your scalp which increases the risk of matting and tangling of the natural hair close to the scalp. To remedy this, every 2 – 2.5 months you should go back to the salon for maintenance, where they will open the ring and simply push it back up to its original position.

Q: How do take care of micro links?

A: When you wash your hair, only wash it in one direction. Avoid any of that crazy hair-scrunching lathering. You’re bound to get badly tangled extensions if you wash your hair like that. Be gentle, because hair shrinks when it’s wet and therefore the micro rings will be a little looser and could slip down. Use leave-in conditioners instead. This decreases the risk of slippage of extensions from the rings. However, use it sparingly as it can cause tangling and build up. Don't sleep with wet extensions. Dry them well, sit under dryer, and tie them up to avoid tangling. When brushing, make sure you are gentle around your roots and rings to prevent slipping. Always use professional hair products that are best for your extensions. Some products can be good to your natural hair but not to your extensions. Products that have too much silicone can cause your extensions to slip. To prevent any slipping or tangling from fault of your own, it is recommended to visit your salon every 2-3 weeks for regular shampoos.

Q: How much does micro links cost to install?

A: The prices vary depending on the stylist. Installation ranges from $350.00-$2,000.00 depending on length, time, style, and hair texture.

Dear Webmaster,

I was wondering if you would like to do a link exchange with me.

I have a relevant site to yours with quality content and a great reputation. I think it would be mutually beneficial for both of our sites if we exchange resource links. Doing so will offer great value to both our websites and readers.

Link exchanges are still very effective if done right and conservatively. The key is to focus on quality and relevancy.

These links are actually very powerful if the content being linked to is relevant and the site has a good reputation. In fact, linking out to great content is encouraged and practiced by many authoritative websites including: reputable businesses, bloggers and universities.

I know you are busy and thank you for taking the time to read my email. Kindly let me know if you wish to take action in a mutually beneficial partnership.

Sincerely,
Linking Manager
